In this diagnostic, I offer to meet with you or your team to discuss and set out a strategy to fund your company through VC or angel finance or an alternative strategy until you are profitable, and the strategy to prepare your company for investment. The meeting would be up to two (2) hours at a low fixed price to be negotiated. An oral set of recommendations would conclude this diagnostic for the fixed price.
In the diagnostic, it is my goal to review and analyze a situation worth more than 10x what you would pay in this diagnostic – and save you tens of thousands, even hundreds of thousands of dollars by getting the right business, contract and tax law advice at the beginning of your venture, and the right funding strategy to see you through to profitability.
In essence, you are not paying me to tell you just what’s there, but what should be there and what ought to be there from your perspective. You are paying me to tell you what is needed based on over 30 years’ experience as a business, tax, contracts, employment and intellectual property law attorney.
From those recommendations, it is my goal to empower you with knowledge. If the comments are important enough for your situation you may go the next step to hire me at further charge to draft one or more documents for you to present or for me to negotiate for you, or alternatively to take the recommendations of the diagnostic and run with them yourself. I will have met my goal of delivering real value and you can then use the work as you wish.
